1996 Corvette Grand Sport Convertible
The 1996 Corvette Grand Sport is one of the most unique special editions Chevrolet has made in the Corvette’s nearly 70-year history. It was one of two special editions offered as Schwanengesang for the longtime C4 generation, as it was offered alongside the Sebring Silver Collector’s Edition in the model’s final year.
The Admiral Blue Grand Sports delighted Corvette fans from the start when Chevrolet revived the model name of Zora Arkus-Duntov’s legendary racing Grand Sports from the early 1960s. Somehow, Corvette engineers were able to certify a new engine specifically for the Grand Sport, even though it’s only a one-year option. The LT4 was developed from the 300 hp LT1 and had a higher compression ratio and newly developed aluminum heads, crane roller rocker arms and a revised camshaft design that increased the performance level to 330 hp. Other features included the black-painted ZR-1 wheels that required mini-flares over the rear tires, along with the unique full-body white racing stripe with red diamonds on the front fenders. Offered exclusively with a 6-speed manual transmission, it was limited to just 1,000 units.
Sold by Corvette Mike in 1996, this Corvette Grand Sport Cabriolet was purchased from the original owner who had only 19,277 miles on the clock. This GS is number 117 in the series and is fully documented with all books, manuals, original window sticker, building sheet and more. It also received a high score from the NCRS, which gave it top flight status. Celebrate the end of the line of the C4 by adding this highly collectible Grand Sport to your stable. Offered for $ 52,900.
2017 Corvette Z06 convertible
In the past, the Corvette Z06 was only available as a hardtop and only the 6-speed manual transmission was available. But thanks to customer requests, Chevrolet offered the C7 Corvette Z06 with a convertible option, along with your choice of a 7-speed manual transmission or an 8-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters. The Z06 models were powered by Chevy’s supercharged LT4 V8 that offered 650 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque.
This Blade Silver Metallic 2017 Corvette Z06 Convertible is almost brand new with only 434 miles on the odometer. Equipped with the 8-speed automatic, it has the premium equipment group 3LZ and the Spice Red Design Package, which adds the Spice Red submerged interior and a red convertible top. In 2017, a total of only 307 Corvettes were produced with the Spice Red Design Package, and this Corvette Z06 Convertible is one of only 36 with the unique combination. Also optional for this Corvette Z06 are the competition sports seats and it features the J57 brake package, which has added the Brembo carbon ceramic brake discs for maximum resistance to repeated hard braking. Included in the Z07 package, the J57 brakes were also offered as a standalone option for a premium price of $ 7,495.
Breaking News, Corvette Mike has just received owner approval to reduce this C7 from the original offer price of $ 109,000 to $ 99,888. Do not miss this high-profile and powerful 2017 Corvette Z06! Contact Corvette Mike today.
2021 Corvette Stingray Convertible
There’s a new saying among Corvette enthusiasts these days basically that it’s hard to drive anything else once you’ve driven the all-new C8 Corvette. Chevrolet took an opportunity by using the mid-engine configuration for the first time in 67 years, and it’s a gamble that has paid off. The C8 Corvettes are the fastest selling vehicles in America right now and you can bet this Corvette Stingray Convertible offered by Corvette Mike won’t be around for long in 2021.
This 2021 Corvette Stingray Cabriolet is equipped with the 6.2 liter LT2 V8 engine with 495 hp and an 8-speed dual clutch transmission that enables lightning-fast gear changes. This C8 is by far the highest option MSRP we’ve ever seen. It is equipped in Silver Flare Metallic with a Sky Cool Gray interior. It is supplied with the Z51 Performance Package with Magnetic Selective Ride Control, the 3LT equipment group and the height-adjustable E60 front axle lift. Other options include 19/20 inch Trident five-spoke aluminum wheels with a machined surface in gray with silver center caps and the Stingray logo and more. It’s the very first retractable hardtop offered on a Corvette, and it’s powered by six individual motors that can raise or lower the roof in 16 seconds, even at speeds of up to 30 mph.
This 2021 Corvette Stingray was only produced a few months ago, and it only shows 8 miles on the odometer, so you’re essentially buying a brand new C8 Corvette without waiting almost a year to drive it.
